The Institute for Narcotics Studies and Analysis undertakes studies of all matters relating to illicit drugs and psychotropic substances, including (i) the demand and supply of such substances, and (ii present global , regional/sub-regional and national regulatory and control mechanisms and to what extent these have been successful. It also undertakes surveys of drug sensitive areas where illicit cultivation of drugs is prevalent and acts as a watch-dog for the governments to take suitable steps.
