Details of Achievements :
Major Activities/Achievements : 1. Weekly YOG classes in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Moradabad, Bangalore Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune. 2. Dhyan Foundation volunteers started a school by the name of Dhyan Foundation Anand Vidyalaya in Gurgaon for the children of slum dwellers and construction workers. There are about 75 children who are provided with meals, education and medical care. Many of the children have been accepted into regular schools (their fee is paid by Dhyan Foundation). 3. Complete support (emotional, monetary, medical etc.) is provided to the blind girls of National Association for the Blind, Hauz Khas Delhi, to make them self sufficient. 4. Meals, rations, books, transport, medical care etc. is provided to Polio ridden children in Dwarka. 5. Yogic practices are taught to cancer patients at Army R&R Hospital. 6. The Foundation in conjunction with Cancer Sahyog, an emotional support group working with cancer patients adopts treatable cancer patients from time to time and pays for their entire treatment. 7. Monthly Workshops across the country for people. 8. Regular langars are being organised across the country. 9. Regular distribution of dry rations, items of daily use and food to Mother Teresa’s ashrams. 10. Uniforms and books for schools for the underprivileged children and blind schools. 11. Clothes, utensils and other daily needs items were also collected by the members of the Foundation for victims of natural disasters. 12. Foundation volunteers provide advice and counseling services at Delhi Legal Service Authority. 13. Blankets are regularly distributed to the needy, sewing machines to destitute women, wheelchairs and tricycles to the handicapped and fund cataract operations. 14. On an on going basis old clothes are collected by volunteers of the Foundation at all centers and sent to Ashrams and to the needy. 15. To spread the message of Yog, we take out a monthly distributed free of cost to embassies, spas, colony clubs, book stores and magazine stands. Also, the proceeds of Yogiji’s books are given to charity.
