The Organisation AT IDARA Charitable Trust is registered institute under Bombay Public Trust Act1950 in the year 1968 Soon after came into formal existence the agency started its activity by introducing some vocational courses of sawing stitching Electrical Technician and other courses sponsored by local authorities and State Government covering the students of nearby locality In the year 1976 IDARA is attached with Technical Education Board Government of Gujarat for Technical courses like Civil Draftsman Surveyor and other technical courses In the year 1978 the agency have allotted few Literacy Centres titled Niraksharta Nivaran Kendra under Adult Education Programme within couple of years the number of centres have been increased from thirty to three hundred centres and gradually the agency were expended its activities to other parts of the state In the year 1988 the most ambitious scheme of NFE Project under universalization of elementary education was approved with 100 centres out of which 90 were Primary and 10 Upper Primary level at Bharuch and Jhagadiya Block covering 2500 left out children every year the programme run successfully by giving employment to nearly 120 candidates as class instructors and supervisors In the year 1987 Trust has started its Home Sciences Diploma College in association with 10+2 special cell vocation education Government of Gujarat and affiliated to State Examination Board Government of Gujarat The year 1991 comes with lot of changes and development; Indira Gandhi National Open University established a study centre 0913 in Bharuch under the administration of IDARA with 6 programmes of certificate and degree level now the centre is activated for more than 80 courses including MBA and MCA In the year 1995 The Gujarat based Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University has established Bharuch Study Centre 1101 under the aegis of our organisation for Gujarati medium numbers of students get enrolled in various Bachelors Diplomas and Certificate courses catered to students of Bharuch District Over and above the Institution offers Fees scholarships to poor and needy students Medical aids and free check up are also introduced without any distinction between cast and creeds.
