Major Activities/Achievements : Green Dream Foundation’s mission is to create an educational and socially responsible advocacy platform for young people to empower and engage their peers in environmental activities to ensure a healthier, cleaner and more sustainable planet for businesses, customers, employees, homeowners and families. We will use non-toxic means to continuously improve all environments leading to an improved life quality.
Our vision is to raise awareness about the environment and promote knowledge and education on prime environmental concerns especially global warming. We also focus on exploring knowledge through online and social media platforms about the emerging environment and highlight how people can get ready for the challenges of tomorrow, thus ushering a safer and more secure future for everyone.
The environmental conditions are deteriorating, the population is growing at a rapid pace, trees are being cut indiscriminately and the industrial development has raised pollution levels. All these degenerating factors have a tremendous impact on the social, political and economic conditions prevalent in the world.
It is important for all of us to take note of the changes occurring in our environment and our role in that process. Each of us can do something – change some of our daily patterns – to secure the planet and stem global warming.
Green Dream Foundation participates actively in educating the public in all matters of healthy and environmentally clean living – both at home and workplace. We dedicate ourselves to reducing waste and pollutants, promoting energy conservation and the recycling of materials. By doing so, Green Dream Foundation will help to create a sustainable world where everyone can live a more harmonious, healthy and happy life.
Eco-friendly and non-violent direct actions are at the heart of Green Dream campaigns as we believe that actions often speak louder than words. All our actions are built around the challenges and opportunities inherent in our mission to protect human health and the environment for all beings. We will carry out our mission by respecting our core values of science, transparency and the rule of law.
The scope of greening will not be limited to just trees and plantations. Emphasis will be placed on restoration of ecosystems and habitat diversity. The foundation also recognizes the influences and potential that the forests and other natural ecosystems have on climate adaptation/mitigation. That’s our long term mission.
