Major Activities/Achievements : GANGA DEVI SHAIKSHIK SOCIETY (1) open base education for children upto 6-14 years age group education are provided by GDSS recognized by NIOS Govt. of India, In formal education – 175 children are studying Ganga Devi SS School (2) Gender equality and women empowerment. The Gender Equity programe of GDSS leveraging benefits to around 1200 members of around 62 SHGs Delhi. (3) Community Health, through its health its health intervention GDSS advocates for preventive and promote as per of health care among the most vulnerable groups of women and children from the JJ Slum of Delhi. Every year the organization reaches out to more than 1,00,000 people from these location & through services like rural IEC Campaign HIV/AIDS, FHAC, NIEC Camp, Health Mela, Health Camps, Health Visit, Voter Awareness Camp, Health Education Camp, TI Project HIV/AIDS, Gender Resource Center/ Samajik Suvidha Kendra, DOTS, Reproductive and child health (RCH-II) JSY, Waste Polythene Recycling, Pulse Polio Camp, Workshop, Consumer Protection, Mahila Panchayat, Vocational Training Programme of GDSS gives cutting & Tailoring Beautifican, Computer & waste Polythene Recycling.
