Major Activities/Achievements : EFWJSW, Educational Forum for Women Justice and Social Welfare, is fully committed and dedicated to the cause of women (and children) with special focus on educational aspects leading to social welfare and justice for them. Besides, we mainly involve ourselves with women belonging to marginalized and backward sections of the society. Initially we started with creating awareness and interest motivating women towards their empowerment, to realize their strength and responsibilities as responsible citizens. We try to help them financially by providing them with vocational training, self defense training programs to make them independent and self reliant. Since women cannot be separated from their children, for their total development, we also take care of their needs.

  • Dear Ma’m/ Sir
I have gone through your organisation details and need some help not monetarily but by suggestion and guidance to proceed for getting justice. When I was 14yrs. old, my husband sent a mediator to our house to make my father agreed to give marriage. Initially my father didn’t agree, the mediator remained there at our house just to convince my parents. Then my husband paid Rs.10,000/- to my father to give the money to husband’s family and got me married.
I was a 14yrs. old girl and was not knowing anything when came to in-law’s house. Soon after my arrival I came to know my husband was in illicit relationship with elder brother’s wife. Within three months of our marriage he started torturing me and my family members. Soon after that in a rape case he was arrested and my family members rescued him by paying money. Later on my husband continued his torture both with me and with my parents. He and his family members continuously were beating me. You might not have heard son-in-law beating father-in-law. My husband started beating my father when my father wanted to rescue me. Ultimately I decided to leave my husband’s house. Before that thrice he had tried to kill me by triangulation. Any how I left my husband’s house after 15yrs. of marriage. They didn’t allow my two sons who are forced stay back, but they want to accompany me. My parents are old and they don’t have any means to support me. I had filed a case for my maintenance, but during the trial, everybody starting from lawyer, police, local leaders ; every person simply tried to exploit me in all ways. I need your guidance preferably how to get my maintenance. They will kill me if I return to my husband’s house. They bribed everybody to escape from paying maintenance. I don’t find anyway how to lead a common life without food. Please advice.
