Major Activities/Achievements : Development Facilitators, in short DF, is an established and national level non-governmental organization working in the social sector of India. Established in the year 1996, DF has, over the years, specialised in the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) segment of social sector, involving programmes (both national and state level), projects and institutions.Today, its client base includes Government of India ( Planning Commission, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,Ministry of Environment and Forests, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of HRD etc), State Governments (Delhi, Haryana, Orissa, Himachal Pradesh etc), autonomous institutes of the Government of India (NHSRC, NIESBUD, NSIC,NCAER etc). In view of its acknowledged credentials in the social sector, DF has been engaged as National Level Monitor-Institutional by the Ministry of Rural Development. DF has also been a National Partner Organization to UNEP. DF is an implementing partner institution for the Government of Delhi to implement the Pilot Action Research on Direct Cash Transfer in Delhi. DF has so far conducted more than 50 evaluations studies for various Union Ministries, Indian Funding Agencies, UN organizations. DF has also CSR Centres in Delhi and Orissa in which skill development programmes are being organized for women, youth and adolescent girls.DF has conducted impact assessment, concurrent evaluation, baseline, midline and endline studies and subject specification studies and various other important assignments like District Level Monitoring, Diagnostic Studies, Feasibility Studies forvarious Union Ministries under the Government of India and State Governments. DF has staff and associates eduacted in premier institutes/universities of India and abroad.
