Details of Achievements :
DAKSH Education Welfare Society is a registered Voluntary Organization under Sections 12 and 12-A of the Society Registration Act, 1860 in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and state of Uttar Pradesh with an aim to focus in the social issues of both the rural and urban area of the country for the benefit of the people of the country.
It was started with a motto of every drop counts to make an ocean, we started with the diverse state of Uttar Pradesh and that too the areas of Eastern part of the state like Varanasi, Ghazipur, Balia, Pratapgarh, Sultanpur, etc. where social upliftment is still a need of the masses and actual ground work needs to be done for the socio upliftment of the people residing in these areas.
Though the organisation is new but the intention and the vision of all the members are very clear to work for the cause with a very strong expertise in the versatile filed from government to training to social work adds on the credibility at par. Hence within a year the society as Daksh Education and Welfare Society was registered with the Govt. of NCT of Delhi as well. We have been working in association with various local organisations like Red Cross, Medical Associations, traders association, civil society and education institutions.
We work mainly with educational projects like regular education as well as vocational skill training coupled with life skill training and socio-awareness campaigns which are the actual need of an hour to communicate the message to the people by the people effectively. We work with all the segments of the society by partnering with local agencies to reach the masses of the respective areas effectively, having an expertise to touch the heart of human capital with the combination of in house expertise as well as external help of technical resource persons.
The society has started its journey with a AWARENESS Building Program, Training and Research for Food Safety and Standard Authority of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The project started from the district of Varanasi with School Children, Medicos, Food Business Operators and members of Civil Society and recently FOOD SAFETY AWARENESS CAMPAIGN at Maha Kumbh 2013 at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh was an achievement for the Society.
