Arya Anathalaya works with the noble object of bringing up and educating poor, helpless, orphan boys and girls, and making them self reliant, the great National and religious leader, Swami Shradhanand founded Arya Orphanange in 1918 with 16 orphan children. Arya orphanage and its sister institutions, are presently providing food, shelter, clothing and education, all free of charge, to more than 1500 orphan/destitute boys and girls in its two campuses- one at 1488, Pataudi House, Darya Ganj, New Delhi and the other in Des Raj Campus, C-Block, East of Kailash, New Delhi. The institution in Pataudi House, Darya Ganj have 1050 orphan boys and girls in Arya Bal Griha and Arya Kanya Sadan and has a Senior Secondary School, Rani Dutta Arya Vidyala from Nursery till Class XII. The institutions in Des raj Campus have 475 orphan/destitute girls from the age group of 11years to 18 years in Chhatravas Chandra Arya Vidya mandir and Chandra Ashray Griha and has also a Senior Secondary School, Chandra Arya Vidya Mandir from Class VI to Class XII. The institution and its sister institutions have approximately 300 employees which includes Administrators, Wardens, Teachers, Fund collectors, Accountant and Class IV staff, etc. many distinguished social worker, eminent advocates, bussiness men, doctor, architect, journalists and industralists are associated with these institutions. The President of Arya Orphanage, Shri V.P.Chaudhry was awarded Padam Shri for his outstanding contribution to Public Affairs in the year 2002. This institution is like a lamp lit in the darkness. It is like a pole star which shines permanently and guides the misled people in the right direction.It provides light in darkness, the light of humanism, education, discipline, hard work, and moreover in self belief. Walking through these institutes makes one feel as if walking through the temple where humanity is worshipped. It is fascinating place where seeing is believing.These campuses are unique temple of selfless service and is dedicated to the noble cause of Nation building.
