Details of Achievements :
All India Santal Welfare and Cultural Society (AISWACS) being a national organisation of the Adivasis and having been involved in their development for the last two decades has gained adequate experiences and insights into the development strategies to be adopted especially for the Adivasis living in Eastern and Central India. In this context, All India Santal Welfare and Cultural Society (AISWACS) has already been developing 50 Model villages in Jharkhand (the Santal Parganas) adopting the Vision Oriented Adivasi Value Based Development Paradigm. The process has strengthened traditional Santal Adivasi People’s Organisations / Institutions at the village level, thereby laying foundation for economic and cultural development Programmes to be taken up by the villagers in an organised manner.
