Details of Achievements :

Major Activities/Achievements : The achievement of Society Nagrik Shiksha Samiti has been working in Khyala, Sham Nagar, Vishnu Garden etc. for the long period years. It has successfully completed the activities through DSWB, CSWB, Ministry social justice & Empowerment, Science & Technology and through own resources. Nursery & Balwadi center. In 2008- 2009 batch 100 student took admission and Successfully completed the session. The society providing nutrition & others material i.e. stationery book, uniform etc. Education given in the balwadi is Psychological based and child centered. It aims at all round development of a child. Creche The society has competed last batch of crèche programme by Delhi Social Welfare Board. free treatment, medicines and necessary foods are also provided. Daily Nutritious diet including Dalia, Khichri, Fruits, Biscuits and milk is also given to the children. Anganwadi Project (ICDS) Society has completed last session in March 09. running 29 Anganwadis under ICDS project of DSWB in Shakurpur and Kanjhawala Block. Most care has been taken for pregnant ladies, lactating Mother, children below 6 year. Awareness Generating Programme Society has conducted 8 days awareness camp for 30 Women in jhuggi cluster. teacher, lawyer, doctor, police, lady help , and other social workers have come and given their views. Condence Course (Matric) It is condensed course of education for Metric failed candidates (Two year scheme) of 25 beneficiaries from march 2008 to February 2009 -3rd Batch is sanctioned by C.S.W.B. This course is successfully run by the society. All the students have appeared in the exam and Result is passed Manvi Sanrakshan Diwas Manvi Sanrakshan Diwas was celebrated by the society about 250 children and 200 women participated in it. Public Library The society is also running a library with the help of Director of Education; There are 9,350 books in this library. Craft Centre For O.B.Cs In 2008-09 batch, 50 Girls Or Women of this category took admission & completed the session. Many of them, got employment & some of them are doing private work.Craft Centre For SC,Type And Shorthand ( O.B.Cs ) N.G.O completed 2008-09 batch of Type & Shorthand course run by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment for OBCs. Where 40 Candidates successfully completed the course. Many of them got job in pvt. Sector and earning their childhood. National Integration Now a day too much violence is observed in the society that is prevailing due to differences in people regarding Religion casts etc the need is felt to make people aware of their duties towards country, leaving behind their personal interest. Keeping this in mind, society organized a national integration in which 150 people participated Messages of National harmony, unity and universe brotherhood is given and discussed. Health And Aids Awareness Health and Aids Awareness camps were organized by In which doctors were invited. discussed about the major health problems with the people. Information in given about the diseases like diabetes high blood pressure heart diseases, eyes disease. Child Education, Pre Coaching & Employment Pre-coaching Classes for S.S.C, Banking, Railway entrance exams were held participant was told how to prepare for C-Grade entrance exams. Besides this for higher education coaching was given to the OBC, Ministries and weaker section of the society. Promotion Of Sports And Game Keeping in view the physical fitness our society organized sports Competition in Cabodi, Football, Hockey, & Badminton. In this programme some School, of Delhi participated. Cultural Activities Cultural activities are very essential for the enjoyment, entertainment and all round development of the society. It brings the various cultures together. Various cultural programme of dance dramas were held where 100 children of different religions background took part and learned. Road –Safety Camp Society has organized an aware camp on Road Safety last year. During the camp people were made aware of the traffic rules. Science & Technology Society conducted conference regarding National Seminar on Automobile pollution, Heart Attack Treatment, Causes and Prevention etc. from assistance with Science and technology department.
