By Centre for Participatory Training and Learning : Community Based Organization is one of the major concerns and prime priority activity of CPTL in addressing the local development issues. During the current year our main focus is capacitating the rural people to take up the challenge of participatory development. Every activity of the CBOs is geared to take the recipient to its ultimate goal of sustainable development. We promote income generation programme through small savings among the poor through means of SHG Credit linkage & SHG fund utilization which is a cost effective delivery mechanism for small credits at the village level. CPTL promotes different forms of CBOs to address the variegated needs of the society. We firmly choose a community centered approach in our developmental concerns by forming the groups for children, youth, women and men. We support the local institution building process, where people take up responsibilities for sustainable development and march forward with economic self reliance.
